FESTIVAL OF CHARITIES
Due to some unfortunate circumstances, there have been some changes in the F.O.C committee. New members have stepped in to help the committee to carry on organising the festival. Please read the below information carefully as some changes have occurred. November 29th 2014 @ YMCA – please note reversal to usual venue . We are pleased we have now been able to secure our traditional venue, the YMCA, whom many members are familiar with and which has proved its convenience over the years.
Items and cash donations - We have now started collecting items and cash donations towards the event.(Members giving Rs1,000 or above will be awarded one participation point)
Monetary donations to be sent only to the Indus Treasurers and Presidents.
Please continue to clean out your cupboards and continue to send almost new items (Books and Gifts) to Nimmi Bhatia and or Ameeta Shah at the addresses below:

It would be really helpful if new or almost new items could be given with a recommended base price.
Please let us know if you could help with the sorting of these items but also note that you will not be allowed to buy or put items aside during sorting!
Clothes- Only clothes in almost new condition will be sold at the event. Old clothes are no longer accepted.
Volunteering- The day is drawing near, ladies please reach out if you have time to give for the event!!! If you would like to get involved then please get in touch directly with the stall holders.

Kiddie Corner:
By popular demand, the Kiddie Corner is back and will be there to entertain all children at the event while their parents are busy shopping for a good cause.

Time: 8.00 PM ONWARDS
Limit: 200 PERSONS
Cost/Head: Rs 2200/-
Having gotten over the Monsoon Blues, we are now approaching our Annual Event in a more congenial weather. This get-together promises a heady cocktail of music, food & frolic.
The Passes will go on sale for members and their spouses/partners from15th October.
For easy distribution/collection of Passes, we have provided options at following locations:

(Please SMS in case you are unable to reach the person concerned - they will get back to you)
In addition to above, you could also collect your Passes from thePresidents who would be carrying them at all Meetings wef mid- October.
Kindly Note that in the event the required numbers fall short, the Event will be thrown open to Member’s guests, from 10th November only.
