Yin yoga is based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. Yin is the stable, unmoving, hidden aspect of things and yang is the changing, moving, revealing aspect. The philosophy behind Yin Yoga is, through patience and focus, an individual is able to channel breathing which helps to calm the mind, leading to a regulation of the body’s flow of energy.


Sneha Desai, renowned Yin Yoga Guru, uses this method to help individuals overcome challenges with a release of negative energy and healing through breathing in positivity. She is here with us today to impart the foundation principles of Yin Yoga and teach us some of the breathing techniques and poses, which help to develop a positive channel flow connecting our mind, body & soul for better emotional stability & living.
