As we near the end of 2019 we are looking forward to the December weather and Mumbai's “winter” setting in! It is hard to believe that we are already halfway through this Indus year and we still have so many wonderful events planned.

This month we are celebrating Christmas with a traditional Christmas Coffee Morning complete with carol singing, storytelling and giving of gifts. Do make it a point to attend as we can promise this morning will leave you filled with Christmas cheer.

January is another busy month with the Indus debate focussing on environmental issues and climate change on the 16th. If you would like to speak in the debate or participate in any way, please contact Usha Jayaram.

We are also arranging a picnic in January - look out for details in the next newsletter.

The short trip to Vadodara is in January and details are on the Noticeboard. This trip is packed with interesting things to see and do, so hurry and book your spot.

In December we would like to remind any members who may be low on attendance to get actively involved in Indus by attending the wonderful meetings organised by our chairladies and participating in other events.

We wish all our members a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, peaceful 2020.
