August is already the eighth month of the year. ‘Time and Tide wait for no Man’ and so my friends lets all get into a festive mood as the coming months are all about celebrating. This month on the 15th we will celebrate our 68th Independence Day, then Pateti on the 18th, Nag Panchami on the 19th and lastly Raksha Bandhan on the 29th.

We take this opportunity to invite suggestions and help from all quarters for making our Fellowship Festival of Nations, in September, a delightful experience. We would like to see our members of different cultures and customs come together to celebrate UNITY IN DIVERSITY.

One of Indus’ most important events is the Festival of Charities (FOC). We would like to invite all our members to contribute and assist the Welfare and Charities Chairladies, who are working alongside the FOC committee to make this event a success for the benefit of many charities.

A gentle reminder that we still need foreign Chairladies for History & Culture, Philosophy & Religion, and Current Events. Please take this opportunity and come forward to participate, learn and enjoy the workings of Indus.
