Today’s programme will introduce us to the saints of India who have made a significant contribution to the spiritual and social development through music.

Meenal Bhide will take us through the songs of Surdas, Meera, Sant Tukaram, Kabir and Namdev.

Meenal is Hindustani classical vocalist of the Jaipur - Altrauli Gharana of music. She has given several performances in India and overseas in Singapore and Malaysia where she has also trained many students. She has  pursued her interest in Bhajans, Indian Folk music and Marathi  Natya Sangeet.  Meenal has provided classical music score for two very popular musical productions…Ritu Chakra and Krishna Leela in Singapore.

So ladies let us enjoy and enrich ourselves today with the voices of saints of India.
