27 Kilometres of the Loire and 1,000 years of History
Since 1980 Heather Charraudeau has learnt to love the Loire River of Touraine. It has become her French home.
The city of Tours and the towns of Amboise and Montlouis are deeply embed in French history, from Clovis the Frankish King, Saint Martin and Gregory of Tours through to the Princes of Broglie and Joe Millionaire, things happen in these towns and city.
Heather will explain some of the historical events which took place in and around this area and show some of her own photos showing the architecture and the countryside.
It will be a gentle morning of reflection on the way of the Royal Court of France.
