FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENTS
Dear Indus members,
The joy of our October Fellowship is still in our hearts. We would like to take this opportunity and thank Anupam Anand and Mila Kahlon, Indus Vice Presidents, who with Indus secretaries Anuradha Pittie and Misa Tanaka put great effort in making the October fellowship an enjoyable and fun morning. A special mention of all our members who helped us by giving us delicious food, drinks, all party supplies (plates, spoons, napkins, glasses), water, and doing decoration and garlands. We thank you with all our heart.
Diwali celebrations are just around the corner, and with that Diwali spirit we would like to invite all Indus members and families to our next celebration: INDUS’ ANNUAL EVENT, which will take place on November 29th at AQABA. This year our party theme will be a tribute to the Retro style. So dear members check your cupboards and look for these 80’s style clothes, as we would like you to participate in a RETRO fashion show
We have planned many fun and exciting activities for the next few months. On December 5th we will hold the Festival of Charities. This event gives our Indus members a great opportunity to get involved and share the effort for the benefit of many charities. In December we will also have the traditional Christmas Coffee Morning, where we are planning to continue our celebrations. Members who are interested in performing kindly contact Kareena Merchant.
Indus trippers start to prepare, as this year we will travel to Madhya Pradesh, where we are planning to watch the tigers in Bandhavgarh and have a moonlight boat ride on the river at Marble Rocks. There is a limit on the number and therefore, if you are interested to join the trip, kindly save your seat with the travelling committee, as soon as possible (Pervin Poonawala and Vidya Srinivas).
We would like to wish all our members a Happy Diwali and may this festival light up your homes and hearts and fill it with lots of love and happiness!
