MILLS & DOCKS – AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER

Destined to be the financial capital and the first city of independent India, the story of prosperous Bombay started over a century ago….. with the affair of the Mills and Docks!

Todays talk focuses on the symbiotic relationship of this natural harbor and the low lying lands, how it became the backbone of this maritime city of Bombay…. and nurtured it to eventually become the financial capital of India.
