FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT
As we near the end of the monsoon we would like to welcome back all our members who have been travelling over the last few months. During July and August, we have enjoyed some wonderful meetings featuring topics such as Flamenco dancing, humour in medicine, Shakespeare readings and much more. Our first Tête-à-Tête meeting was lively and well attended, and we all had many of our questions answered by the expert Stylist.
Preparations for our Fellowship on 10th October are in full swing. We hope to make this a morning of celebration and our members can look forward to enjoying a range of activities, music and sampling delicious food.
Our trippers set off for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia at the end of this month and we wish them happy travels and look forward to hearing all their stories when they return. Our Travel Committee are already working on an exciting trip to the South of India in February. Please check the noticeboard for details.
We are still short of recipes for the second edition of the Indus Cookbook. Ladies, please send Maya Merchant your most delicious recipes as soon as possible. The proceeds from the sale of this book will go to charity so let's all work together to make the best cookbook possible.
