PARSI SPECIALTIES BY NICOLE MODY
For October, Book Discussion and Cooking Swapshop join hands to bring you chef and cookbook author Nicole Mody. After running her own event management company, she moved into curating food events and writing. For the past several years, she has served as the food curator for the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival. This inspired her to write her first book “Flavours of Kala Ghoda”.
Nicole recently released her second cookbook “From the Table of Mary S. Narielwala”, which showcases traditional Parsi and European recipes. The book contains stunning old family photographs of the Bombay of a bygone era, as well as the original hand-written recipes. Nicole has recreated and updated these recipes to make them fun and easy. After a discussion of the cookbook, she will prepare a selection of famous dishes for us. Join us for “Khavanu, Pivaanu & Majja ni Life”!
