INDUS GOES GALLERY HOPPING

South Mumbai has become an established place for the Arts, featuring a dense field of galleries and art spaces. Every second Thursday of the month, the galleries are open late and “popping in” with friends has become a thing… We want to join the art crowd with Indus friends and hope to establish the habit of “looking for yourself” what’s out there —and what we think about it?

For our FIRST INDUS GALLERY HOPPING, we will meet at Gallery ISA for an international group exhibition ‘Shaping Space’, then move to Chatterjee & Lal for a solo show of Minam Apang. Afterwards we suggest discussing the art works and our thoughts and reactions over a glass of wine (or water).

We hope this informal group activity will catch on within INDUS, a core group will develop and Indus will continue to go “gallery hopping” on Art Night Thursdays in addition to the regular INDUS Art events.
