Anupam Kher is an Indian actor who has appeared in 500 films

and many plays. He has also appeared in acclaimed international

Films like Bend It Like Beckham, Ang Lees 2007 Golden Lion-winning Silver Linings Playbook.

He has won the  FilmFare award for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A COMIC ROLE five times.

He has held the post of chairman of Central Board of Film Certification and National School of Drama in India.

The Government of India honored him with the PADAM SHRI IN 2004 and the PADMA BHUSHAN IN 2016 for his contribution in the field of cinema and arts.
