ANAITA SHROFF ADAJANIA – Celebrity Stylist

Come join us in discovering how a girl, whose grandfather ran a bespoke tailoring shop, became a fashion stylist for not only Bollywood celebrities but also famous sports stars and even Victoria Beckham who is no stranger to the fashion industry. Her grandmother, who possessed her own style aesthetic, provided opportunities for Anaita to observe at an early age the process of putting together “a look”. These experiences provided the basis for her study of fashion, as her accomplishments were achieved without formal education in fashion design.

When testing the waters for a career choice and discovering that attending a renowned hairdressing school was not within budget, she applied for a job in the fashion department with Elle Magazine in India. While working with photographer Farrokh Chatia, the idea of having a stylist at every photo shoot was born.

Today the stylist concept in the advertising and entertainment industry is the norm.

We’ll be learning styling tips for ourselves as Anaita shares her knowledge as it pertains to all of us. Let’s see if we can improve our own “look”.
