RANGOLI MADNESS

The eye-popping colour, filled with the radiance of new beginnings, is the very quintessence of the rangoli. This ancient art form known pervasively throughout India, is emblematic of good luck and varies from not just simple geometric shapes, deity impressions or floral and petal shapes, but also encompasses elaborately crafted designs.

Shilpa Shah, Founder of the Sanskruti Arts & Crafts since 2002 and a registered artist for the Indian Government for Warli painting, Torans, and various Indian arts, will unravel her passion and interest in this ancient art form. The event will commence with a basic introduction on the origins of the rangoli, followed by an awe-inspiring demonstration.

Come join us as we provide you with an insight into the latest rangoli trends and equip you with the tools to perfect your skills. Basic material required for the event will be provided to aid you in the process of creating the perfect rangoli. Do not miss this opportunity to kick-start the new- year with a riot of colours.
