We have Mandakini Mathur, founder of Devrai Art Village, aPanchgini  based NGO that strives to empower tribal craftsmen through their art. Experimenting with different mediums and designs, Devrai Art Village has brought about an innovation in the ancient art form of lost wax nonferrous metal casting. 

‘Rock Dhokra’ is a never tried before technology for fusing stone and brass and is now under patent process. Devrai Art Village has today grown into a training centre for tribal craftsmen and design / art students alike.It strives to empower the craftsmen by giving them new design ideas and marketing possibilities.

Mandakini  will share the story of  'Devrai Art Village' and how they are evolving this ancient indigenous art form of 'Dhokra' without losing its essence.
