Our Speaker Dr. P.S.Pasricha, a recipient of many national and global awards, including the prestigious Police Medal for distinguished services and the Indian Police Award for meritorious services awarded by the President of India, retired as the Director General of Police of Maharashtra State after exemplary service of 38 years. Not only did he hold many important assignments , he was also made the chairman of 14 historical gurudwaras in the holy city of Nanded.

Dr. Pasricha’s talk is titled ‘ONE GOD AND UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD’. Oxford dictionary defines Religion as a belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power whom we call Bhagwan, God, Allah and is meant to make us kind and moral humans. Unfortunately, our planet is threatened by some fanatics, who promote hatred and enmity. God is universal and does not belong to a particular race or nation. It is, therefore, crucial that we familiarize ourselves not only with our own holy scriptures, but also acquire knowledge of other faiths. Inter-religious understanding is the most essential pre-requisite for achieving peace and harmony on earth.

Dr Pasricha after sharing his thoughts, will facilitate a meaningful interaction on this subject.
