DESK OF THE PRESIDENTS
A good time was had by all at our Annual Lunch at Foo.
Indus ladies certainly know how to party!
A big thank you to Shalini Chuganee for organising the wonderful venue and the fabulous raffle and to Simone Assomul, Anahita Havaldar and Deepa Navani for organising the games.
Lastly thanks to all our members for supporting us by attending this event and joining in the fun.
February was a month of outstanding meetings ranging from well- known artists, to ballerinas to iconic architecture to expert doctors and much more.
We have some equally exciting meetings lined up in March so don't miss out.
The Indus Quiz based on Hollywood/Bollywood takes place at the end of this month. If you are a movie buff from any part of the world or even if you just love watching movies, please do contact our Presidents and volunteer to join one of the teams.
Our trip to the South of India was extremely interesting and packed with amazing historical sights and a little bit of shopping, of course.
More than that it was a unique opportunity to strengthen friendships with members and enjoy each other's company in a different setting.
We have mentioned the NGOs that Indus will be contributing to this year on the Noticeboard. Please do donate generously to these worthy causes.
As the year draws to a close, we are looking for both Indian and foreign Chairladies to take over next year.
Being a Chairlady is a very rewarding experience. Please contact either of us if you would like to know more about what it involves.
Lastly please note the AGM is on 21st April this year and we hope to see many of you there.
