Get aware of the social, economic and cultural shifts in the fashion industry. PANI Swimwear – a prevalent business practice in India is a sustainable brand that seeks to normalize swimwear by offering simple and modest cuts that flatter South Asian body types. The swimsuits are made from Econyl, a yarn developed from recycled fishing nets and other plastic waste found in the ocean.

Born and raised in France and Mauritius, Leila Veeraswamy graduated from Brown University with Development Studies and Economics. She pursued her interest in the private sector having a social impact in India before launching PANI Swimwear.
