FROM THE PRESIDENTS DESK

Don’t put away your woolens as the cool weather still persists!

Our Trippers are back with some wonderful stories and this month some get set to leave on a longer international trip to East Africa. These trips are a wonderful opportunity to bond for longer periods than the brief moments before meetings and it’s also where friendships are strengthened. This year is no different!

Although we are winding down as the Indus year end approaches, our Chairladies are on top of things and have organized some super meetings this month. Make sure not to miss them!

At the same time, we are still looking for Chairladies so if you would like this role, please contact us and we’ll show you the ropes for the positions that are still available.

For the coming year, and on a trial basis, Current Events and Welfare meetings will be merged under the title Current Events and Humanities. Without losing the original purposes, this approach will broaden the possible content and we are hoping for an enthusiastic support and attendance.

Put on your thinking hats and volunteer to take part on the Indus Quiz which is happening this month. The theme is Travel, a subject on which our Indus ladies are well versed so don’t miss out on the opportunity for a fun morning! Whether participating or cheering teams on make sure you come for this exciting and enjoyable morning.

As always, we look forward to seeing you at meetings!
