AUTHENTIC MAHARASTRIAN COOKING

Dr. Yashodhara Pendse, though professionally a practlsmg

dentist, is passionate about food, nutrition and a self-taught cook specialising in many cuisines. She caters for many events and parties and is looking after the cafeteria of an International school.

She will be giving a Maharashtrian food demo. Her demo menu consists ofMasalebhath, Ambyachi udadmethi - raw mango curry, Solkadi, Panchamrut- a tangy side dish, cashew and tindola upkari, ukdiche modak - steamed rice dumpling filled with jaggery and coconut.
