USHA: MASTER STORYTELLER AND PUPPETEER

Fearless princesses, a beautiful cockroach with a street-smart granny and wonderfully quirky kings and queens - this is the world of Usha Venkatraman, International Storyteller and Classical Vocalist, who weaves magic with her words.

Three Stories and a Song is an hour-long performance of storytelling by Usha Venkatraman to bring forth the truth behind the stories. She will narrate three stories. Meenakshi Kalyanam (Wedding), Tulsi - The Holy Basil Story and the Story of Hanuman’s Ramayana.

Usha’s sole intent is to keep the oral tradition alive. Her puppetry skills make her tales more fascinating. Usha is the founder Director of Mumbai Storytellers Society, MSS. She is a member of FEAST, Federation of Asian Storytellers. She will be performing at The Hans Christian Anderson Statue, Central Park, New York on August 24, 2019.

Note: There will be a charge of Rs.100 per person
