Javed Gaya is a lawyer and writer who has been published in numerous publications from the Times of India, Business India, DNA, Marg Magazine as well as foreign publications and written book reviews. His interests range from law, history, music, food culture and politics.

He has an abiding interest in history, is an avid reader of history and biography and is active on the cultural and intellectual scene in Mumbai.

He will talk about History and its relevance as a discipline to understand the present, giving current examples such as Brexit and Rise of the Elite.
