Anushka will entertain us with some of her original compositions and a few popular covers, in the genre of rock/ folk/ blues. She will also talk about the challenges of creating original music, being a singer and songwriter. For the last 12 years, Anushka has given live performances in blues and rock in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Delhi. She has also sung at festivals such as Cry Freedom and Jazz Utsav. Anushka recently recorded her music in Los Angeles, at the Jim Henson Studio with renowned guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, the second guitarist in Eric Clapton’s band!In 2012 - 2013, Anushka performed at the Troubadour (a reputed live music club) in London and othernlive music venues in the city. Anushka\'s first single, \"angel of Music\", a tribute to janis joplin, is making an appearance in the US National Country Chart Top 50.
