RAELL PADAMSEE AND THE AMAZING GEMS

Our guest today is the dynamic ‎and versatile Raell Padamsee - an actor, director and producer. Her company, "Ace Productions" has been bringing us theatre performances for over 20 years, some of the most memorable ones having been Godspell, Macbeth, Broken Images, Murder on the Menu, One Out of Six, Death of a Salesman and musicals like Oliver, the Sound of Music and Grease. This year will see the launch of the mega musical Jesus Christ Superstar. 

 Raell also involves a large cast of children in her musicals, including those from several NGOs for underprivileged children. The goal of the "Create Foundation", a trust which was founded in 2002 in memory of Raell\'s mother, Pearl Padamsee, is to integrate all these children as they sing, dance and perform together.  

 Raell will talk about her work in the theatre world and about "Create". She will also present a short piece by "the amazing gems" from her production of The Sound of Music - the boys from the Victoria Memorial School for the blind, one of the NGOs she works with.
