The monsoons begin, bringing with it a vibrant renewing energy and respite from heat, which is a welcome change.  It is also interesting to note that July offers some amusing occasions for celebration on global basis, phased over the month. To name a few- international joke day, world chocolate day, ‘just for laugh’ comedy day, international ice-cream day!!

Here we wish to take this opportunity to thank our out-going chair ladies for having organized some fabulous June meetings.

Since the said meetings were all held on the zoom platform, it was heartening to see our members having risen to the digital challenge and actively participating in large numbers.

The new committee is making every effort to provide members with innovative and interactive meetings. In case of suggestions for speakers/ activity, please do contact us.

As we are all aware of the partial lockdown scenario which is likely to continue for some time in the near future, it is hence exceedingly difficult to plan our normal activities and get- togethers which require social contact and space.

Ladies, we still have few vacancies for foreign chair-ladies, in activities – current event, book discussion and performing arts. Our foreign members please come forward, and contact any one of the executive committee.
