Increasingly media bashing seems to have attained centre stage in drawing room conversations, particularly among non media fraternity. Is there substance in such debate? What ails Indian media?

Our renowned speaker for today, MrParigi, acknowledged by his peers as a thought leader in the Telecom, Media & Entertainment space, was the first non American recipient of The William F Glaser’53, ‘Rensselaer’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award, USA and the Life Time Achievement Award by the World Brand Congress in 2009. As a thought leader he has addressed global forums, among others, at London Business School & INSEAD.

Mr. Parigi will talk to us about the influence of media on social and political trends, and also about the recent state elections’ outcome, among other things.
