ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Renewals must be paid latest by 31st July. No calls will be made to members who have not paid up by that date.

•  We are looking for a foreign chairlady for Current Events. Anyone interested, please contact the Presidents.

•  It has been observed that at our meetings about 20% of our members are still not wearing their Name  Badges in spite of repeated requests. Please ladies comply with this basic rule.

ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION

Dear members,

As you all know Indus membership is based on participation, in addition to attending 10 meetings during the membership year. Members are also expected to participate actively in the affairs of the association.

Opportunities for participation are published in the Newsletter from time to time; following are some ways to earn participation points:

• Host a meeting in your home

• Arrange a speaker for a meeting

• Fill in for absent chair ladies at a meeting  (take attendance sheets, thank speaker)

• Take phone calls to list names for a meeting with limited numbers

• Work on a stall at the Festival of Charities

• Do some baking or cooking for a meeting

•  Sing in the choir

• Dance or act or help out in any other way at a meeting

• Help with the Registration Desk, or with Collection of Fees & Renewals at the AGM

• Donate money to sponsor an event, e.g. fellowship meeting or the Festival of Charities
