INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION –

THE INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB) – PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAMME (PYP)

An introduction and interactive session to the PYP as a systemic and all-encompassing curriculum. We will look at the implications of the learner profile as an expression of the philosophy of the IB and its contribution to the development of international-mindedness.

Overview of the written, taught and assessed curriculum as it pertains to the five essential elements of the PYP that are integral to classroom practice.

Our speaker for today is the very enthusiastic, and vivacious Khushnuma Ferzandi. Khushnuma has been an educator at The American School of Bombay for 23 years.
