BHAJANS (DEVOTIONAL SONGS)

The Sanskrit word bhajan is derived from the root bhaj, which means “divide, share, partake, participate, to belong to”. The word also denotes “attachment, devotion to, fondness for, homage, faith or love, worship, piety to something as a spiritual, religious principle or means of salvation”.

Our guests Nirali Sanghi and Shri Johriji will sing a number of Bhajans. We will get to experience a selection ranging from devotional and love songs to those imbued with gyaan (knowledge) on living an elevated life.

Nirali is a Founder and CEO of IndiaParenting.com, an Internet portal for parents from pre-pregnancy to pre-teens. She holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing and a Bachelor in Economics and Computer Science from Columbia University, and has worked at Citibank and The Boston Consulting Group. Accompanying Nirali is her Guruji, Shri Ashok Johri, a prolific Bhajan singer, writer and composer, and a highly accomplished Tabla player.

When it comes to music, Nirali’s passion will shine through! There will be a charge of Rs 200/-.
