ORGAN DONATION - LIVE LIFE & GIVE LIFE

Dr. Anurag Shrimal (Consultant Abdominal Organ Transplant Surgeon) will be giving an overview on the current organ donation scenario in India.

As an expert in transplant surgery, he will talk on treatment options for patients with end stage organ failure (liver / kidney/pancreas/small intestine) and how they can benefit from organ transplantation. He will speak on the importance of cadaver organ donation —the current myths and beliefs. Additionally, understanding brain death —its importance and implications will be discussed.
