Sraboni  Chaudhari is one of the leading Thumri exponents of today . She attributes her musical talent to her mother and first guru Smt. Lakshmi Mukherjee. Sraboni  holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai and was formally "Lecturer In Charge" in the Department of Economics at Sophia College, Mumbai.

The turning point in her life came when she got an opportunity to learn music under the Thumri legend Smt  Shobha Gurtu. She has had the rare privilege of being part of a musical ensemble led by the Tabla legend Ustad Zakir Hussain on two occasions . Sraboni has performed in several prestigious music festivals held by  the Kesarbai Kerkar Sangeet   and  Kala Academy in Mumbai and Goa.

She will be singing for us Thumri, Hor, Dadra, Ghazal and Sufiana….
