Our speaker this morning needs no introduction!

She is the founder of the House of Anita Dongre, a leading fashion house, well known in India and other parts of the world for ethnic, western, bridal, couture, pret, menswear and jewellery.

Anita Dongre will talk to us today about her Foundation and her organic clothing brand ‘Grassroots’, which works extensively with skilled artisans and unskilled labour, especially women, in Indian villages. This initiative successfully provides them  sustained and gainful livelihood opportunities in their own village, without having to migrate to bigger cities.
