CLEFT PALATES – A SIMPLE WAY TO CHANGE A LIFE

UNDERSTANDING HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED WITH A CHARITY THAT’S CHANGING CHILDREN’S LIVES IN INDIA.

One in 700 babies born in India has a cleft palate, cleft lip or facial abnormality. These children suffer massive humiliation, isolation, nutritional deficiencies, difficulties in talking, and difficulties in eating! And yet all this can be solved. Dr Rangnath Jhawar has set up the D.Y. Patil Cleft & Craniofacial Research Centre at D.Y. Patil Hospital to provide comprehensive care from birth including counselling for parent and child, nutritional advice, speech therapy, and orthodontics. It is this process that transforms the life of the child not just the operations required.

Dr Rangnath is a man with a mission, a great humanitarian with the ability and passion to change the lives of thousands. He has performed over 3000 cleft surgeries, all of them completely free  of charge. Please come and see what can be done! Support this absolutely essential charity!
