Dhanashree Pandit is one of the leading Indian Classical vocalists in India today, her speciality being the “Thumri” or semi-classical genre of music. Besides her concert performances in India and worldwide she hosts workshops and lecture demonstrations on various aspects of Indian Music. Her quest is to share and popularize the essence of Indian Classical music.

Come and relive the splendour of the nawabs of Lucknow in a unique presentation on ”Thumri” classical songs of love.

 Dhanashree will take us into the era of  the Royal courts to the concert stage making  the traditional Thurmri an unforgettable experience for us, the classics sung by Begum Akhtar re-created for you - the glory that was Lucknow in the early 19th century.
