EXPLORING THE ANCIENT HINDU KINGDOM OF CHAMPA – VIETNAM & INDIA’S ANCIENT SOFT POWER DIPLOMACY

Piu Lahiri is an expatriate vagabond. Having lived in and called Korea, Thailand, Egypt, Zambia, Singapore and now Vietnam, home, her passion and love for history has certainly had a few field days.

She has trained to be a museum docent at the Asian Civilisation Museum & Indian Heritage Center (Singapore), before morphing into a trainer for the same. 

Once she moved to Vietnam four years ago, she joined the Governing Council of Friends of Vietnam Heritage. Additionally, she began to research about the Hindu Kingdom of Champa that had flourished there for about 2000 years. This topic stirred her passions and she began travelling extensively, with her trusty camera, visiting locations & interviewing the Cham descendants of the long lost kingdom. Piu eagerly looks forward to sharing her stories with you in what will most certainly be both an exciting as well as deeply insightful session in ancient diplomacy.
