Craftings by Ritu Patel is a fashion design house where current trends in fashion is combined with traditional craftsmanship.

Their goal is to rediscover the lost tradition and revive the dying arts by adding a contemporary touch to the already intricate crafts and syncing them with today's lifestyle which are reflected in women's ever-changing fashion.

Their research has led them to work with the artists of Kutch. Currently they are working with craftsmen that reside in clusters of villages and pass on their skills to each next generation.

Every village creates their own distinctive style of embroidery which draws on common pool of stitches.

At Craftings each garment is hand embroidered and hand finished to appeal to the urban fashion-conscious woman seeking originality.

Their skilled artisan works under personal guidance to ensure high standards of workmanship. It takes four to six months to hand embroider each garment.
