Our speaker, Serafina Auster Singapuri, a young American settled in Mumbai, a graduate in Earth Systems, Stanford University, has been growing her own produce in variously sized apartments ever since she moved to Mumbai. Encouraged by successfully setting up a composting system in her own building, she started Green Conscience Consulting, which has helped many Mumbaikars to start kitchen gardens on their balconies, roofs and backyards.
