ONE OF INDIA’S BIGGEST HEALTH HAZARDS

Oral cancer and cancer is clearly one of India’s greatest health scourges. Cancer hospitals admit/detect over 7.5 lakh new cases every year. Tobacco usage is unequivocally and directly linked to triggering changes that can be devastating and at the least, disfiguring. However, its usage continues with younger and younger people despite its known hazards. A multi prolonged effort with greater awareness and early detection and prevention is still going a long way.

Dr. Kamlesh Desai, oral diagnostician, general dentist, implantologist and cosmetic dentist with international reputation will give a brief overview of oral cancer’s true picture, causes and effect of tobacco consumption in his mission to help in living better and healthier lives.
