JEWELLERY DEPICTED THROUGH ART

Poonam Soni is the pioneer of bespoke jewelry in India since 1989. Over 26 years Soni has given unique collections like one  based on The Sistine Chapel, Rome, Gaudi revived, inspired by the works of the Catalan architect Antony Gaudi, which got her Spanish patronage. Soni’s falcon brooch was auctioned by the Sothebys director Lord Mark Poltimore for Prince Albert’s Eco Art charity. These collections created history when they featured in the collector’s books along with the Jar and Van Cleef and Arpels.

Poonam Soni was the first designer to introduce Art in fine jewelry and created exquisite one of a kind pieces with Laxman Shreshta in 2005 and later collaborated with Nawaz Modi Singhania. These feature in international Trends magazines and created a rage, worldwide. Soni recently appeared in the limited edition coffee table book by Rolls Royce.

She is now making waves in New York where Michael Kors has endorsed Soni and guided her to launch to a bespoke customer. Michael sums up Soni’s collection “Soni brings an artists’ eye for colour, detail, and imagination to her magnificent one-of-a-kind pieces.”’
