MAKE YOUR EVERY SMILE COUNT

Welfare has many different faces. Indus member Samina Khorakiwala believes that a lot can be achieved through belief, perseverance and a positive outlook towards life. Married into a philanthropic family and a member of the Wockhardt Foundation, (which has many programs of upliftment), Samina has been encouraged to pursue her passion of edu-recreation to be a change agent.

Samina established KhelKhel Mein in 2010 with a vision and mission to inculcate good human values amongst children, who do not otherwise have the opportunity, through fun and play. KKM centres use experimental learning, as opposed to the conventional rote system, with teachers and volunteers as role modes.  They have changed the lives of almost 10,000 children and reach out to 2,000 more every year.

Member Action: Sign up to take part in an interactive Thanksgiving experience with KKM kids on Thursday 24 November at a KKM centre.
