Day wise itinerary
Day 01: GUWAHATI / PLAIN AREA
* Welcome to Guwahati
* Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway
Station
* Visit Kamakhya Temple
* Overnight stay in Guwahati
Day 02: GUWAHATI - BALIPARA (200 KM / 4.5 HRS) / PLAIN AREA
* Early Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to
Balipara
* Check into the resort after lunch visit tea garden & evening tea
testing program.
* Over Night Stay in Balipara
Day 03: BALIPARA —BHALUKPONG —NAMERI —BALIPARA (100 KM FULL DAY SIGHT SEEN) / PLAIN AREA
* Morning after breakfast day trip to Bhalukpong & Nameri
* Nameri National park is tiger reserve areas where you can enjoy
river rafting in Jia Bhorali River.
* Over Night Stay in Balipara
Day 04: BALIPARA —JORHAT (190 KM / 4 HRS) / PLAIN AREA
* Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Jorhat
* Afternoon checks into the hotel later go for special lunch arranged
in local guesthouse.
* Evening come back to hotel
* Over Night Stay in Jorhat
Day 05: JORHAT —MAJULI —KAZIRANGA (JORHAT TO NIMATI GHAT 15 KM / 1 HRS AND THEN BY FERRIE TILL MAJULI) / NIMATI GHAT TO KAZIRANGA (130 KM / 3 /4 HRS) / PLAIN AREA
* Early Morning check out from the hotel and day trip to Majuli
* Majuli is the largest fresh Water mid-river deltaic island in the
world. It is situated in the upper reaches of the river Brahmaputra
in Assam.
* Visit Satras in Majuli.
* Evening come back to Kaziranga
* Overnight stay in Kaziranga
Day 06: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK —SHILLONG (280 KM / 7 HRS) / KAZIRANGA IS A PLAIL AREA BUT SHILLONG IS A HILL AREA.
* Early morning Elephant safari and Jeep safari after safari proceed
for Shillong, also called ’Scotland of the East”. While traveling we
see the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani) surrounded by sylvan hills
and wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-pines
and the azure blue skies.
* On arrival at Shillong.
* Check in at your hotel.
* Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 07: SHILLONG - CHERRAPUNJEE —SHILLONG (60 KM / 2 HRS / 1 SIDE) / HILL AREA
* Get up early today to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Shillong
* After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (60 kms 1½hrs), which
is the wettest place in the world.
* Visit Saimika Park, Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls,
Nohsngithiang Falls, Mawsamai Caves.
* Evening return to Shillong.
* Visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views.
* Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 08: SHILLONG - MAWLYNNONG VILLAGE —SHILLONG (80 KM / 2 HRS / 1SIDE) / HILL AREA
* After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Viilage the cleanest village in
India (90 Km 2 Hrs).
* This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness.
* Visit the living root bridge and another strange natural
phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock.
* Evening we will return back to Shillong.
* Overnight in Shillong.
Day 09: SHILLONG - GUWAHATI (100 KM / 3 HRS) / SHILLONG HILLS AND GUWAHATI PLAIN AREA.
* After breakfast check out from hotel.
* With everlasting memories transfer to Guwahati airport/railway
station for onward journey.
