TRACING ISKON PHILOSPHY

We welcome Swamy Suradasji from the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) which was established by His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in the year 1966.

ISKCON has since developed into a worldwide confederation of about 10,000 temple devotees & 2,50,000 congregational devotees. The mission is known as The Hare Krishna Movement & has 350 centres, 60 rural communities, 50 schools & 60 restaurants worldwide.

The Vedas tell us that the understanding of the self, as being non-material or spiritual by nature, is the preliminary stage of realization of the absolute truth. To understand knowledge of self-realization one must approach a genuine spiritual master, just as one learns the essence of any subject from a perfect practioner.

Swamyji will expose us to the Hare Krishna movement, their philosophy, purposes & teachings.

To have an idea of number of members & guests attending, please call Ayesha Soonawalla, 9821029744 on Monday the 12th September between 10a.m. to 12 p.m. to confirm your attendance.
