Barka Pincha is the Director of the International Melody Foundation in Mumbai which was formed in the early eighties in Delhi to revive and preserve the old Indian Tradition of Mehfils & Baithak Style Musical Events for Qawwali, Ghazals, and Semi Classical & Classical Indian Music. The Foundation has organized many musical programmes with artists from India and abroad.

Through a mixture of singing and explanation, Barkha will give us an insight into some of the most beautiful classical Raagas in Indian Classical music. She will be accompanied by the tabla and will also sing thumari for us.
