Dr.Prakash Pispati - Director of Rheumatology at the Jaslok Hospital and a senior consultant at the Saifee Hospital has acquired post-doctoral training in Rheumatology in the UK and US. He has been honored with a “Lifetime Distinguished Services Award “- Indian Rheumatology Association. He was also Master, Honorary member and Past President – Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (27 Countries).

Dr. Prakash will talk to us about “Medicine through a kaleidoscope”.  He shall narrate innovative, Informative and golden moments in the evolution of medicine. The elements of Landmark Discoveries, inventions e.g. the first stethoscope, the first microscope …a terrific Nobel Prize in Medicine expedited by World War II... The story of the Dog and the Insulin …the brave new world of Biotechnology and the conquest of Arthritis. The  “Romance of Medicine “and the “Harmony of Medicine” with fine arts e.g. Picasso or Renoir, R.K. Laxman and Mario Miranda on doctors and patients.
