THE MUSIC OF SUFISM

Today’s programme will introduce us to the central role played by devotional music in Sufism’s philosophy of peace and spirituality.

Jalpa Vithalani will screen the documentary ‘SULH-E-KUL, Peace to All ‘, a beautiful film on the Ajmer Sharif Shrine and the venerated Sufi Saint Khwaja Gharib Nawaz, which recently won the Best Musical Documentary Award at the International Film Festival of Fiji.

Ms Vithalani is the founder of Cosmic Heart Gallery which believes in the healing power of art and music. She is an artist, a practitioner of reconnective healing and conducts Art Therapy and Sound Energy Management workshops.
