MANAGING MENOPAUSE AND PREVENTING FEMALE MALIGNANCY

Padma Bhushan Dr. Rustom Soonawala, with an experience of more than 45 years, is the head of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jaslok Hospital. In addition, he is senior consultant to many hospitals including Breach Candy, Saifee, Parsee general hospital and Welcare hospital in Dubai. He is one of the seven recipients of the Von Graffenberg medal for original work in Intra Uterine Contraception by the University of Kiel.

There is a change in approach to healthcare from curative to preventative medicine and alognwith technological advances it will be possible to avoid sickness as well as achieve high standards of medical care in the obstetric and gynecological care for women from adolescence to menopause.

Dr. Soonawala will talk to us about the management of menopause with emphasis on female malignancy.
