ELEVEN MINUTES
Some books make the reader dream; others bring them face to face with reality.
‘Eleven Minutes’ is a brush with reality in the oldest profession the world has known – prostitution. Maria, a Brazilian village girl’s first encounter with love, leaves her heart-broken. A chance meeting in Rio takes her to Geneva, dreaming of fame, but, making her a prostitute. Her world turns upside down when she meets Ralf, a Swiss painter, who sees her "inner light" and shows her true love.
Born in Brazil, Paulo attended a Jesuit school.
