“SOMEHOW TUNED”
Shinobu Mikami is a young Japanese artist based in Mumbai. She has studied at the Ecole Superiere Des Beaux Arts Paris and at MS University Baroda. This is her first solo show in India which she opens in July at the Clark House Initiative. She will take the audience through her exhibition that arises from a narration of her life between the megapolises of France, India and Japan. The works borrow affinities of techniques such as thin Japanese paper the narrative school of Baroda, and the broad landscapes of France, that inherently tell us of a feminist tale.
Clark House Initiative, established in 2010 by Zasha Colah and Sumesh Sharma is a curatorial collaborative and artist union concerned with ideas of freedom
