WHAT IS BASS GUITAR?

This morning we have Sheldon D’Silva, an iconic musician, who has spearheaded the bass guitar in fusion and jazz in India. Sheldon represented the Asian continent at the John F Kennedy Centre for the American roots program and has played at some of the most prestigious festivals in the world.

He has performed with Zakir Hussain, Louis Banks, Al Jarreau, George Duke to name a few. Today, he will take us through his musical journey. He will explain the importance of bass and how it functions in relation with other instruments and the difference between guitars (Lead, Rhythm and Bass). 

He will play some music to show the importance and the sound of the Bass guitar.

Sheldon will end with a short performance of his videos. The morning promises to be entertaining and informative, so do be there.
