Through the years Indus members demonstrated spectacular resilience, as we always see the glass as half full. The Covid pandemic outbreak allowed us to demonstrate the special Indus spirit, as we find ways to meet and interact while supporting charitable causes. We are grateful to have new technologies to assist us to maintain the Indus true spirit of fellowship and friendship.

The introduction of new and innovative technologies can sometimes be overwhelming. However, during the monsoon season, the Indus Zoom meetings are a blessing as it assists us to avoid the stormy weather. Therefore, for next month we will increase the Indus zoom account to allow many members to join meetings without any stress.

Since we can’t travel much these days, we would like to invite you to attend the SeptemberFellowship that will take us for a surprise visit to an unknown destination (kindly check page 15 for your airline boarding pass). The Vice Presidents and their team are working hard to make this a fun and entertaining meeting and we are looking forward to seeing you on September 29th, at 5 pm.

We have formed a Database Committee comprising of Maya Merchant, Neena Patel, Minoti Jain, and Ferzana Khana who will compile and update the Indus database accordingly. This is also a good opportunity to thank Neena Patel an Indus long-standing member who for the past 13 years works behind the scenes to maintain the Indus database. During the years, Neena oversaw many projects, such as the operations of sending out the physical newsletter copies to all the Indus members and the publication of 3 Indus directories. We would also like to thank Maya Merchant for coming on board as a member of the Database Committee and assisting Membership Treasurers as she has done in the past few years. Thank you Neena and Maya for your continued support.

This month the chairladies have prepared some fantastic meetings that will give us the perfect getaway from the monsoon rains, and we are looking forward to sharing these precious moments with you all.
